What are you like?
We are also firmly committed to participating in God’s mission in the Glen Eden Titirangi, and Kaurilands area. This is what we sometimes call a missional disposition – and as you browse the rest of the website you will gain a sense of what this is.
One of the key pillars of TBC has been it’s commitment to being a Bible based church. We really value the Bible as God’s story, revealed to us , and continually illuminated to us by The Holy Spirit. This means that we regularly have excellent, solid teaching.
Tell me about your history
In 1995, Kaurilands Church of Christ became Titirangi Baptist Church, and about the same time, our sunday service outgrew our church buildings and necessitated a shift to meeting in school halls. We initially met in the Glen Eden Intermediate hall, but we soon outgrew that too! We now meet at the Kaurilands School Hall.
You can read our entire history, in more detail here (coming soon!)
Hosting Team
When you arrive on a sunday morning, look out for our hosting team. They’re the ones wearing name tags – so you’ll know someone’s name straight away! They can answer any questions you may have, as well as point you in the right direction for various people, ministries, etc.
New @ TBC
To help make being new just a tad easier, we have two key ways that you can get connected – both to other “newbies”, and to some of the “regulars”.
The first is a Newcomer’s Homegroup, and it’s a small group for those who are new to TBC. Every week you will get to know more about TBC from regulars, staff, and ministry leaders. Click here to register your interest!
The second is via our Facebook Group – NEW @ TBC. The NEW @ TBC team post updates, events, and just generally communicate here.
Renda Warner, Host Ministry Leader
Chances are most sunday mornings, you will meet Renda. She’s really keen to meet you and make sure that you feel welcome on your visit. Don’t be shy – she’s pretty friendly! If you want to get in touch with Renda, you can do so via the following:
